U.S. Senator Bob Corker, a member of the Senate Banking Committee, said a new strategic plan released by the Federal Housing Finance Agency for the future of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac “starts to move us in the right direction” toward reform of the two mortgage finance agencies, adding “now it’s up to Congress to build off the momentum.”
