Kenya's Housing Finance says 2011 pretax profit up 74 pct
NAIROBI (Reuters) - Kenya's second-largest mortgage lender Housing Finance posted a 74 percent jump in pretax profit to 975.8 million shillings, as its loan book grew by a third, it said on Wednesday. Housing Finance said its loan book grew by 31 percent to reach 24.2 billion shillings, while earnings per share rose 26 percent to 2.70 shillings.
